Today, on October 22, was held the next extended jury session of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

It discussed the results of the evaluation of the work carried out by the judicial bodies and institutions until the same period of 2021, the shortcomings and priorities that should be fulfilled in the future, as well as the results of the evaluation of the effectiveness of the activities of the regional judicial bodies.

The meeting of the jury was held in the form of a video conference, in which the head and responsible staff of the judicial bodies and institutions took part.

It was noted that the Ministry of Justice developed 123 projects of normative-legal acts aimed at regulating important issues of life of the state and Society, 1 929 projects of legislative acts were conducted from legal expertise, 129 departmental normative-legal acts from the state registration.

Communication of the justice system with the population has radically changed, especially during the period of the pandemic, new, modern and effective forms of close communication with the population through the Internet and social networks have been introduced into practice.

71.8 thousand of the total 91.8 thousand appeals received were legally resolved, 17 thousand submissions were submitted to eliminate cases of violation of the law, 143.7 billion were submitted to the courts. the sum of 11,2 thousand claims is 102,2 billion. sum of 9,9 thousand claims were satisfied.

More than 310 thousand legal propaganda events were held in order to increase the legal awareness and legal culture of the population

Reforms in the field of public service centers have also been effectively continued. They are raised by 7 million. More than 200 thousand services were provided.

Also, the jury discussed some shortcomings in the consideration of Appeals by judicial bodies and institutions, improvement of legislative acts and the application of measures of influence on violations of the law identified in the studies.

It was noted that the effectiveness of the activities of the regional judicial bodies was assessed through the first electronic system of the marotaba, according to the results of the evaluation the Namangan and Navoi judicial departments recorded the best indicators. A relatively low figure was criticized for the activities of the territorial judicial authorities, assignments were given to accelerate further activities.

The delegation also heard the report of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and the Fergana Regional Directorate of the agency for public services on the work carried out in 9 months of this year and future plans.
