On November 3, this year, the Ministry of Justice organized a seminar on "legislative innovations in the field of activities of non-profit organizations". It was attended by representatives of more than 150 non-profit organizations.

During the Seminar, detailed information was given about the content of legislation adopted in the field in recent years, the reforms implemented, as well as the problems arising in their activities were discussed.

Over the past 5 years, about 2 thousand social initiatives put forward by civil society institutions have been implemented to support 192 billion. the amount of the sum was adjusted.

The number of employed citizens in social useful programs and projects of non-profit organizations is more than 10 000 people.

Nearly 100 social order projects have been developed and implemented among more than 20 ministries, departments and non-profit organizations.

From the funds of the public fund under the Oliy Majlis, 24.7 billion manats were allocated by state bodies and non-profit organizations. projects of 69 state social orders worth som were completed.

In 2021-2025, approved by the decree of the president of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the activity of non – profit organizations within the framework of the concept of civil society development is guaranteed.

The Ministry of justice and the National Association of non-profit organizations of non-profit organizations were informed about the transparency standard of the activities of non-profit organizations approved by the non-profit organizations and it was recommended to introduce it in the activities of non-profit organizations.

Also, issues related to cooperation between state bodies and the Institute of civil society, social partnership relations and implementation of public control were touched upon.

During the event, representatives of non-profit organizations of non-state organizations made proposals on further improvement of the sphere. In the future, it was agreed that such events would be more organized.
