The Republic of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan are close partners in the development of trade, economic, social and other spheres. The competent state bodies of the two states also cooperate inextricably and effectively in various areas of the sphere of Justice and law.

On July 14 of this year, President of Turkmenistan within the framework of Serdar Berdimuhamedov state visit to our country, a cooperation program for 2022-2023 was signed between the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Justice of Turkmenistan, aimed at further accelerating relations in the legal sphere.

In accordance with the cooperation program, in the near future, it is planned to accelerate cooperation with the Turkmen side in the following areas:

conducting legal examination of regulatory legal acts and monitoring their implementation, digitizing lawmaking in state bodies, improving the activities of registry offices;

raising legal consciousness and legal culture in society and increasing legal awareness of the population;

Organization of internships with the Ministry of Justice of Turkmenistan in order to improve the qualification of legal personnel, as well as other activities in cooperation in the fields of law and Justice.

This document signed between the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Justice of Turkmenistan serves to ensure the results of mutually beneficial cooperation in the legal field.
