The Ministry of Justice held a presentation of the project "creating a system of anti-corruption education and honesty in government bodies and educational institutions

On July 28, 2022, a discussion meeting was held on the start of work on the implementation of the project" Strengthening the anti-corruption education and honesty system in public bodies and educational institutions."

It was noted that in recent years, large-scale reforms have been carried out in our country aimed at further increasing the knowledge of young people and civil servants in the field of anti-corruption.

With the assistance of the Ministry of justice, the prosecutor general's office and the anti-corruption agency, the UN Development Program "fight against corruption through effective, accountable and wholesome management institutions in Uzbekistan" project "creation of an anti-corruption education and honesty system in government bodies and educational institutions" with the participation of experts from KPMG audit (Uzbekistan) is being implemented. During the event, the presentation of this project by industry experts was held about the content and implementation procedures.

This project plays an important role in the continuous improvement of knowledge and skills of civil servants, employees of judicial and law enforcement bodies, students and students of educational institutions in the field of combating corruption, the formation of an uncompromising attitude to corruption in society.

Purpose of the project :

- strengthening honesty in civil servants, employees of judicial and law enforcement bodies, as well as students and students of educational institutions and the formation of an uncompromising attitude towards all manifestations of corruption;

- the introduction of international anti-corruption standards with the active support of international experts by increasing their legal literacy;

– further strengthening the effectiveness of the implementation of anti - corruption measures and facilitating the Prevention of corruption crimes in the country.

Answers were given to questions on the issues that heated the participants on the project.
